The eclipse will be seen on the seventh day, when you are aboard the Yangtze Cruiser. At 6340km in length, the Yangtze River is the third longest river in the world, neatly dividing China into north and south, and wending its way through eight very different provinces. You can sleep in or take a vantage point from the top deck lounger as the cruiser lazily drifts through breathtaking views and stunning scenery until it reaches Mount Ming. From there, you can take a chair lift up to explore the complex of Tao, Buddhist and Confucianism temples, relics and sculptures, making your way towards a 6 story high Fengdu Padoga, which offers 360 degree un-interrupted views of the skyline and the great Yangtze below.
