Tour operator Auswalk has just launched a new guided walking holiday along the Great South West Walk, a 250km circuit track along the Victorian coast near the border with South Australia. The Bush to Burra Cattle Drive is being held in South Australias Mid-North region 7-11 October 2008. The five-day event (complete with 400 head of cattle) will cover 56km from the outpost of Whyte Yarcowie to the historic mining town of Burra, following part of the historic droving route used by Sir Sidney Kidman, known as Australias 'Cattle King'.
