Singapore's Christmas in the Tropics spectacular – now in its 27th year – sees the Lion City ablaze with festive cheer from now to 3 January. World-famous shopping boulevard Orchard Road has again been transformed into a fairytale wonderland, draped with even more glittering lights and larger-than-life decorations. Visitors can take advantage of the free open-top bus tours which offer an unbeatable view of the Christmas Light-Up from Orchard Road to Marina Bay, where they'll be greeted with thousands of twinkling fairy lights, giant Christmas presents and beautiful lanterns. Kids play free at Millbrook

Queenstown's Millbrook resort is investing in the future of young golfers throughout New Zealand by introducing a new golf programme this summer. In a first for the luxury resort, a new ‘Kids Play Free' programme will be available from 1 December, aimed at encouraging youngsters aged 18 and under staying at Millbrook with their family to enjoy a free round on the championship 18-hole course. Youngsters can qualify for the free round when accompanied by a paying adult, saving the normal $35 junior rate. The ‘Kids Play Free' programme will run from 1 December 09 to 11 April 10 and families must be resort guests to qualify.
