Russell's Gardenia House
Bay of Islands Holiday Accommodation has a new property in Russell – Gardenia House, which was formerly known as Aomutu Lodge. Lesley Joy at BoI Holidays says they have a Stay 7 Pay 5 Special Offer for an 8-person booking during the June-September 09 period. Gardenia House is ideal for a family holiday, wedding or reunion. Set in the peace and seclusion of a lush tropical garden overlooking the Bay of Islands, Gardenia House cascades down the hillside in a series of levels, each with sea views.
It can comfortably accommodate two couples and two children in the main house with provision for a further couple in the annex. All the suites have sea views, a spacious private bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities and a refrigerator. The master suite also has a spa pool and private patio. Linen and towels are provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a wide range of crockery and cutlery and the conservatory makes a perfect breakfast nook. Wireless internet is provided. Celebrate with friends in the formal dining room, curl up in the living room and watch a little Sky TV, or have a barbeque and a few drinks on the veranda while watching the sun set over the sea. The interior is crafted from native woods and vaulted stained glass windows fill the rooms with warm natural light. It is air conditioned and has central heating as well as a traditional open fire.
