Luxury Northland Hotel Joins Heritage Hotels
Heritage Hotel Management is delighted to announce the addition of Carrington Resort on the Karikari Peninsula of Northland to the hotel group's portfolio of pre-eminent hotels. Set on a 3000 acre estate with four spectacular kilometres of secluded white sand coastline, the resort has a Matt Dye designed tournament-standard 18 hole golf course, an acclaimed vineyard and winery, a working Black Angus beef stud farm, and 900 acres of restored wetlands on site.
Marketed as Carrington Resort A Heritage Hotel, the new addition has 10 luxury lodge rooms and 14 self-contained three-bedroom villas, all with stunning views, plus an exclusive conference venue suitable for up to 100 people.
The resort's world class recreational facilities include a heated infinity swimming pool and spa whirlpool, two championship tennis courts, Olympic standard clay and skeet target shooting range and a gymnasium. Horse riding, fishing and scuba diving are also easily arranged for guests.
Dining at Carrington Resort A Heritage Hotel is of an international standard with fresh ingredients sourced from on the property, prepared by Scottish born Executive Chef, Scott Fraser.
Carrington Resort A Heritage Hotel is four hours drive from Auckland city. The nearest airport is Kaitaia. The resort also has a heli-pad for guests arriving by helicopter transfer.
